A: The medical term for these non-cancerous lesions is seborrheic keratosis. They tend to become more common when we get older.
They are commonly found on the face, neck, chest or back. They have a rough and waxy surface, usually raised.
These are benign lesion and do not need treatment. However, you may have them removed if you do not like their appearance and if they cause irritation when rubbed against your clothing. They can be removed by CO2 laser.
