Q: How to apply pure L-ascorbic acid serum on the face correctly?
A: To our fans of Censil L-ascorbic acid 25% Serum out there, have you ever wonder how to apply it correctly onto the face so that you can maintain its highest potency?
L-Ascorbic Acid is the chemical name for natural form of Vitamin C while the synthetic form are known as derivatives. Formulations containing derivatives of ascorbic acid have been found to be more stable, but they do not produce the same effect as that of the parent compound.
L-Ascorbic Acid has the worst stability compares to the others. It is easily oxidised and hydrolyzed in water. So, in order to preserve its potency, you must apply it correctly on your skin.
Censil L-ascorbic acid does not contain water at all, thanks to the patented US technology, and that is the reason why Censil of 25% L-Ascorbic Acid can fully keep its efficiency and sustain stability over 18 months.
To avoid your vitamin C get hydrolyzed with water, make sure your hands and face are completely dry before applying it. You may experience a warm or tingling sensation when using vitamin C serum especially if it has contacted with water. However, this sensation is temporary and tolerable.
First, apply a drop of Vit C serum with your finger directly onto the dark spot. Then squeeze 2-3 pumps of Censil Multi-corrective Cream on the back of your hand and add one drop of Vit C serum into it. Mix well and spread onto the entire face. Don’t mix them on your palm as the lines in your palm may have some water hidden in them!
The video below shows you the exact way of mixing your vit c serum with a moisturizer 😀
