Q: How to reduce the visibility of a C-section scar?
A: Many women are concern about their C-section scar. Some scars even overgrown and become more obvious than usual, and these are called keloid scars.
The appearance of normal C-section scar can greatly be reduced by fractional CO2 laser. Keloidal C-section scar can be reduced by steroid injection to shrink the scar and follow by fractional CO2 laser to further flatten it and blend in well with the surrounding normal skin. You may consider using a scar serum/ cream regularly to soften it.
A few months down the line, the C-section scar won’t be so visible anymore
