Q: What is probiotics?

A: Probiotics are good live bacteria and/ or yeast that lives in our body naturally.

Our body has a well-balanced of both good and bad bacteria. When there is an infection, there is more bad bacteria than good bacteria hence knocking off our system’s balance. At this juncture, adding good bacteria helps eliminate the extra bad bacteria load, returning our system’s balance.

Probiotics supplement is a fast and easy way to add good bacteria back to our system. Fermented food like yogurt, kimchi, sourdough bread, cottage cheese, tempeh, miso soup etc. can do the job as well!
