A: If you compare both of them head-on for treating acne scars, fractional CO2 laser still holds an edge as it clears of the skin faster.
Up till now, fractional CO2 laser is still the GOLD STANDARD to treat acne scars, wrinkles and photoaging. 1 session of fractioanl CO2 laser might be equal to 3 sessions of pico laser.
The bottom line is fractional CO2 laser works much better, however it comes with downtime. Just be reminded that, for pico laser when that kind of energy is used for treating acne scars, it will give you some redness around the scars for a few days as well .
