Semi-permanent BB cream as the name implies is exactly what it sounds like. After double-cleansed the face, a layer of numbing cream will be applied onto the skin for 15 mins before the actual procedure. Subsequently, a whole ampoule of Korean premium quality BB serum is applied onto your skin and then we will perform microneedling treatment using a dermapen to create multiple microscopic channels (don’t worry, very fine channels, not visible by naked eyes, no pain and no bleeding too!) for the serum to penetrate the skin deeply and effectively. The BB serum will then blend and adjust to your skin tone. The treatment will give you a natural looking base that lasts for a period of time. It will provide your skin with light to medium coverage to hide your light pigmentation, acne marks, redness and dark eye circles.
Immediately post-treatment, the skin will appear slightly red. As I have mentioned in my other blog, you can complement the treatment with our Medi Mask which will reduce the redness significantly, soothe the skin and make it recover faster. Some patients will experienced some mild peeling for 3-5 days after treatment. After this peeling process, the resurfaced new skin will reveal its fairer and fresher self!

The 1st treatment will usually last for 1 – 2 weeks. It also depends on your lifestyle, sun-exposure and the amount of care taken. The second treatment is scheduled 2 weeks later. Recommended treatment schedule is 2 weekly for the first 4 treatments and subsequently can be maintained with monthly treatment. Increasing sessions will lead to increasing longevity and better coverage.
